Tim Loberg, Cedar-Knox PPD, has been selected to the Nebraska 811 Board of Directors. Loberg has been with Cedar-Knox PPD for 31 years and has served as a journeyman, foreman, and currently as the operations coordinator at the district.
Loberg completes the majority of the utility aspects of Cedar-Knox PPDs locates, entering locates, dispatching them out to crews, and verifies the completion. Over the last few years, Loberg has assisted with improving the accuracy of all Cedar-Knox PPD’s underground facilities on the 811 online software to reduce required amounts of locating within the district. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the software and process has allowed him to even work with area contractors and electricians to help them participate and utilize the online entry of 811 locates. This process has improved efficiency and relationships within Cedar-Knox PPD’s service area. NREA would like to congratulate Tim and thank him for his willingness to serve on the Nebraska 811 Board of Directors.
