Perennial Public Power District’s Board of Directors has appointed Brandon Lehman to serve as General Manager. Lehman served as Interim General Manager over the past month and has previously served as Manager of Engineering, and initially as System Engineer for the District. Lehman stated, “I’m honored to serve our District and I enjoy working together with the directors, our excellent management team, and all the employees at Perennial.” Lehman also added, “It’s satisfying to help our local communities grow and to power the progress of York and Fillmore counties through our service.”
Lehman holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is a recent graduate of the National Rural Electric Association’s Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently serves as the Power and Energy Society Chairman for the Nebraska Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.
A Nebraska native, Lehman has lived in York for the last 15 years with his wife Amy, and three children John, Caleb, and Anna. Lehman enjoys spending time with his family hunting, fishing, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
Perennial Public Power District is a Nebraska rural electric utility serving York and Fillmore Counties in south-central Nebraska. Organized in 1938, Perennial PPD provides service to more than 7,500 electric meters and maintains over 1,900 miles of transmission and distribution power lines. Perennial PPD also serves several villages and towns including Benedict, Exeter, Grafton, Gresham, Henderson, Lushton, McCool Junction, Milligan, Ohiowa, Strang, Thayer, and Waco.
